The True Essence of Christmas

The "Ber" months are here already and as of now the last where in the day when Lord Jesus was born. And every year we are celebrating this special day. This is the season which children liked most to celebrate, because they are having many money as the season goes on. But the question is what is the true essence of christmas? Here are the meanings of christmas for me.
Christmas is a time to renew bonds of love. It's a wonderful time when loved ones can show appreciation for each other. It's also a great time to use that love to build bridges of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Christmas is best enjoyed when it isn't centered on decorations, gifts, or festivities, but when love is at its core. Love is the essence of Christmas. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share.
Christmas is a time to see the world through the eyes of love. It's a time to remember that the world is made up of people like us and to see them for who they are inside. All have problems like we do, no matter who they are or where they come from.

INSIGHTS ABOUT THE ENGLISH MONTH CELEBRATION 2013

The concept of a Universal Language is more significant only now, in the era of world mass communication. Before this era Greek, Latin, French were to some extent universal languages, though mainly in Europe.

By a lucky coincidence due to factors above, English, the Universal language, is one of the simplest and easiest natural languages in the world. The only other simple and easy languages are constructed ones.

Of course the concept of easiness is relative, and it depends on which language you know already. However the concept of simplicity is undeniable: English in an easy language to learn, understand and speak. A complex language such as Hungarian would be a very unlikely candidate for a universal language.

EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPURTUNITIES

Every person has their own rights, even a baby, a man, a woman, a teenager or even those senior citizens.
There are so many rights of an individual, like, right to go to school, right to give their own opinion and mostly  the right to live. So we should respect the other's right so they will respect our own also.
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.
So, it is our responsible to take care and use our own rights to good, not only for oneself, but also for the goodness of everyone.

MODERN DAY HEROES

A modern day hero is a person who helps those in need. Unlike the heroes in fairy tales or comic books, who save civilization from some great evil, the modern day hero works more quietly, often serving the people without any pomp or acclaim. Characteristics of a modern day hero include compassion, strong work ethic, a giving nature, a defined set of morals, and a kind spirit. Examples of modern day heroes are policemen, firemen, and soldiers.
And for all the heroes nowadays, I give them the honor for sacrificing something just for the goodness of the greater.

Insights about the Science and Technology Month Celebration
"Unravel the causes, build a solution, empower the Science Clubbers in action"

Technology has been progressing at an astonishingly rapid rhythm, and it has been changing our lives in a scaring way. In the future, our lives might change even more, with several benefits and dangers of technological advances. Everything evolves around 3 concepts: technology, science and future.
So now arises the question: will this technology advance make society better or worse off?
On the one hand, several benefits will make society better off.
For example, advances in cosmetic surgery will lead to people being highly satisfied with their personal appearance and happiness among society will be increased. For example, people that feel ugly and can’t find a couple will now be able do it with facial metamorphosis, and they won’t be depressed anymore. In conclusion, society’s welfare and happiness will be increased by cosmetic surgery.
Another example is genetically modified food. The ability to modify the food’s gens will allow crops to grow faster. This will lead to higher amounts of food being produced at lower prices. As a consequence, world’s hunger rates will be dramatically reduced, with higher nutrition rates taking place. In conclusion, genetically modified food will affect positively human hunger and nutrition rates.
Lastly, human lives will also be benefited by another important technological advancement: animal clonation. Species extinction will be reduced or even stopped, as well as hunger rates to the increase in supply of food. To sum up, animal clonation will solve some of the key issues which are actually part of the world’s daily agenda.
Overall, human life will be changed in a very positive way by advancements such as the mentioned before and some actual key issues won’t exist anymore.
Related to this topic, the purpose of this theme is to empower the knowledge of the students and to improve their talents and skill about inventing, experimenting and other knowledge-giving ways about science.
MY TEACHER, MY HERO

Month of October comes again. Here, we celebrate the English Month. Regarding to this, one of the main part of this celebrations is The Teacher's Day Celebration. In this day, we give honor and salute to the teachers in the whole world. Not only giving them the honor, but also we give thanks to all of their goodness to us. And as a student, I dedicate this blog to all of the teachers in the world. Especially, to those who take part on my journey in reaching all of my dreams and the "Succession."

The school plays a very significant role in the development of the community. It is the school that offers education to the community people that will serve as their bridge to progress and development. But a school never been a school without the presence of teacher. Being a teacher is a big responsibility because they are the one who will inherit the facts and ideas which they know to us. Moreover, teachers are our second parents in school. They are handling hundreds of students. In that case, I salute them for they were able to guide and teach such that number of students. It takes hours for them to discuss a certain topic in front of those different faces of students. It is really a hard job but they are still keep on working for us to learn something.

All teachers deserve to become a hero. Teachers cannot avoid complaining about the hardship of teaching. But then, their feet are still standing on the ground of the school. Imagining thousands of learners who are waiting to learn and to be educated.
So, the real heroes are the one who sacrifices something for the goodness of the greater.

Insights about the Buwan ng Wika

Ang bilis ng panahon ano, Agosto na naman. Ibig sabihin ay buwan na naman ng Wika. Panahon na naman ng pagbibigay pansin at halaga sa ating sariling wika na Filipino.
In this celebration of the Buwan ng Wika, there are so many things and ways to give importance to our own language. In this generation, we can notice that there are many people who want to use the English language than our own language, Filipino. But, why shouldn't we just use our own language for giving our own opinions, having a conversation to other Filipino if we can just use our own language? Some also Filipinoes, like rich Filipinoes are always using the language English, and their reason is "English language is more socialistic than the Filipino language," is this the right thing to do with our language? No! right? because using our own language can make us proud to other nations. So, the main thing or the simplest way of giving importance to our language is by using it on our everyday living.

           "TRAFFIC DAW"

TRAFFIC: Isn’t it estimated that our economy loses an estimated 2.4 billion pesos every day because of Metro Manila traffic? Among the projects targeted to decongest Manila is the Integrated Transport System. For the buses that force themselves onto already-crowded roads, we will construct terminals in areas with less traffic. Our countrymen can already make use of the terminal in ParaƱaque, and the ones in Quezon City and Muntinlupa are already lined up. Provincial buses will be permitted only up to these terminals, so they do not add to the congestion. There is also the two connector roads that will join the North and South Luzon Expressways. To tell you the truth, there were already plans to construct what they called the Metro Manila Highway in the seventies. This would have connected the two expressways, so that traveling from one point to another need not consume the hours it takes to pass through the entire length of EDSA. The problem: Mr. Marcos issued laws that favored one of his cronies. And unfortunately, we are required to follow them: Whoever constructs infrastructure in those areas must be in partnership with the corporation of Mr. Marcos’ friend. Even worse: every time they add even just another short section to the original road, their franchise is extended by thirty years. That is not the end of it: Once the company profited, the development of infrastructure in the area was left unfinished. Remember that these roads were supposed to traverse Pangasinan to Quezon… But when the company operated at a loss, they had the audacity to pass on to the government a multitude of debts. I ask our Congress today: Let us take another look at Presidential Decrees 1113 and 1894.

Insights about the Nutrition Month (July 2013)

Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama - sama nating wakasan

The month of July came again, and here it comes again the celebrations of Nutrition, where in, we are giving time and importance in our Health.
This month, the theme is "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama - sama nating wakasan." The aim of this theme is to lessen the percentage of Malnutrition People. The other aim of this theme is to lessen hunger and poverty of our country.
In order to reach this goal, we should deal with politicians or in government, to give more actions to eliminate or lessen the number of people who suffer from starvation.
But to eliminate the "sick of our country" faster, we should start our healthy lifestyle to ourselves, so that we can be a model to or house, community, school and in our fellowmen.
